Basic Hypertext Markup Language (HTML)
This is a review for some, not for others. There are several good tutorials
for HTML on the Web. I have listed a decent one below. There is an extensive
list of tutorials on the Web.
- Crash Course in
HTML (http://www.w3-tech.com/crash/HTMLMenu.html)
- This is a decent tutorial on how to do HTML. It goes through all the
basics and touches upon more advanced topics. It's is best to read it while
you are using the browser and to try all of the examples while you are
reading the tutorial. I expect everyone in here to be able to do all of
these things, but you do not have to have to be able to do them without
referring to a guide.
Don't worry about taking the quizzes. If you want to you can but I'm not
checking for that. This is extra, but if you want to read a really good
article on how to use the ALT tag then check out Alan Flavell's "Use of ALT text in IMGs".
