Presentation Schedule¶
Presentations are 5 to 7 minutes long, and below are shown the start times for each presentation. We expect your presentation to be no less than 5 minutes and no more than 7 minutes. If you would like advice about your presentation, please read the project description, look at the marking scheme on Canvas, or speak with the TA.
You are welcome to use the computer at the front of the room, e.g. bring a PowerPoint presentation on a memory stick. You are also welcome to use your own computer, but you must provided the HDMI/VGA cable for connecting it to the room’s projector. Your team is responsible for figuring out how to use the presentation system before your presentation: check out the room ahead of time and know what to do!
All team times were assigned at random.
Please note that for your team’s presentation, your entire team is expected to be there for the entire lecture. However, it is not required that your entire team participate in the presentation itself.
For the classes when your team is not presenting, please ensure at least 2 members of your team are present.

Presentation 2¶
Please be ready to give your presentation any time on your day — it’s possible that you may end up giving your presentation before or after your schedules time!
Things we’d like to see include:
- a brief demo of the best and most interesting parts of your project
- perfect and polished, both visuals and speaking
- you should practice your presentation — marking of this part will be more strict than for the first presentation!
- thoughtful analysis of what worked, and what didn’t work, in your project,
e.g.
- how did your design change over time?
- what was the best/worst software tool or package your team used?
- what was the most useful project-management practice your team followed?
- is there anything you expected to be a good idea, but it turned out not to be?
- how would you do things differently if you were to do this again?
- what advice would you give to future students working on a project like this in the future?
