WEEKLY LAB EXERCISES

All lab exercises, whether requiring submission or not, will be posted here before the first lab class of the week. If a submission is required, that will be indicated in the exercises description, together with their due dates.

  • Lab exercises week #2 (pdf). Due date: Thursday September 23, 9:30 pm, via submission server only . You need to keep a copy, for your records, of all the files you submit. You also need to keep the email from the submission server confirming your submission. This lab exercise may be done in teams of 2 people. Submit only one submission, including the personal information file. Check the submission instructions.


  • Lab exercises week #3 (pdf). Due date: Thursday September 30, 9:30 pm, via submission server only . You need to keep a copy, for your records, of all the files you submit. You also need to keep the email from the submission server confirming your submission. This lab exercise may be done in teams of 2 people. Submit only one submission, including the personal information file. Check the submission instructions.


  • Lab practice exercises week #4 (pdf). No submission required. These topics will be included in upcoming quizzes and in future projects and tests (as well as topics from previous labs and those seen in class).The topics included in the quizzes will be more specifically indicated and posted later.

  • Lab week #5
    • Quiz #1 will take place.
    • No active participation points will be provided.
    • New submissions: Lab exercises week #5 (pdf) Due date: Thursday, October 14 9:30 pm, via the submission server. You need to keep a copy, for your records, of all the files you submit. You also need to keep the email from the submission server confirming your submission. This submission may be done in teams of 2 people. Submit only one submission, including the personal information file. Check the submission instructions.

      Revised exercise to submit for lab week #5: Instead of submitting exercise #3 (which is in fact exercise #5 from Lab week #4), you should submit the "while if problem" included in the class notes 12C, see the Readingssection. The other exercise to submit remains unchanged.


  • Lab week #6. Work on pending lab exercises.

  • Lab practice exercises week #7 (pdf). No submission required. These topics will be useful for upcoming projects and tests.

  • Lab week #8 - Work on previous exercises and or work on the project #1. Active participation points will be provided as usual.

  • Lab practice exercises week #9 (pdf). No submission required. These topics will be useful for upcoming projects and tests. Also work on your project.

  • Lab practice exercises week #10 (pdf). Work on project #1 if needed. No submission required. NO active participation points provided. These topics will be useful for upcoming project and tests.

  • Lab practice exercises week #11 (pdf). Start working on project #2. Compare your solution of midterm and of project #1 with the posted solutions. Work on previous lab exercises. No submission required. NO active participation points provided, but the instructor will be available for consultation as usual.

  • Lab practice exercises week #12 (pdf).No submission required. NO active participation points provided, but consultation will be available as usual. For the INDIVIDUAL TAKE HOME QUIZ check the Test exercises section.

  • Lab practice exercises week #13 (pdf).No submission required. NO active participation points provided, but consultation will be available as usual. Check the project #2 clarifications document.

SOME LAB EXERCISES SOLUTIONS.

These solutions should not be shared with students who are not registred in CMPT 125 during the current semester 2010-3.
