Course evaluation

GRADING SCHEME

Labs active participation (checked during labs in person by TAs): Bonus points will be awarded
Lab exercises (submitted up to about a week after the lab)/Quizzes: 20%
AEP: 2%
Assignments and projects: 18%
Midterm Exam (one midterm exam): 20%
Final Exam: 40%

Note: There will not be a make-up midterm nor make-up quizzes nor make-up mini tests. The option of increasing the weight of the final exam is possible under special circumstances (at the discretion of the instructor).

Note:
Students must attain an overall passing grade on the weighted average of exams in the course in order to obtain a clear pass (C- or better).

Students who do not obtain a passing grade in the final exam may not obtain a pass (D or better) .

Note: For ALL quizzes and exams (including final exam) you are allowed to bring two A4 size pages of HAND-WRITTEN notes. After the final exam only you will have to submit your notes with your final exam script.
