Network Modelling Discussion Group

I am organizing a discussion group on network modelling.  Anyone interested
in this research area is welcome to participate.  Graduate students are
particularly welcome.  There will be a short organizational meeting this
Friday, September 21 at 11:30 in ASB 9898.  I expect that we will meet weekly
after we have found a mutually convenient time. 

The purpose of the organizational meeting is to determine the interests of
the group and to plan future activities.  These activities could include
informal presentations, working through interesting research papers together,
group problem solving, and of course open discussion.  Topics of interest
could include mathematical modelling of networks, modelling of network traffic,
and performance prediction and analysis.

If you are unable to attend the organizational meeting, but would like to
participate, please contact me.  If you would like to be on an email list
for announcements, please send me email.  Please forward this email to
others who might be interested.
