General structure

The standard structure for presenting the results of an empirical study is Introduction, Method, Results, and Discussion, often abbreviated IMRaD. Computer science presentations often also feature a separate Conclusions section, where the authors state their broad conclusions and suggest future directsion. (This information is usually also present in papers that do not have an explicit Conclusions section. It simply does not have a separate header.)

This structure is not a law. You may wish to modify the structure for your report. One of the most common modifications (although still comparitively rare) is to interleave the Results and Discussion, with each major result followed by a specific discussion. This can make it easier for the reader to correlate the discussion points with their associated result.

The grading rubric is now available.
