"Better Late Than Bad" Assignment Submission Policy

The "Better Late Than Bad" assignment submission policy encourages students to submit good assignment work, a day or two late if need be. In essence good work submitted a day or two late is valued more highly than bad work submitted on time.

The basic idea of this policy is that a late penalty is applied to the credit value of a particular work assignment. For example, if an assignment is worth 6 credits towards the overall course grade when submitted on time, its value might be reduced to 4 credits when submitted late. But it would still be possible to earn 100% of this 4 credits for a perfect assignment submitted late, with other course work making up for the other 2 credits under the Best 100 Credits Grading Policy.
