Mad Bart was most known for his "bidding habits"; Big 7 was reknowned for winning those everelusive beer cards, no matter how remote the chance; Sewcraits, although bearded heavily, played with the wisdom of saints (i.e. the force) on his side; Boo was a mysteriously quiet, but quite fine Bridge player, but some have said that he's just a giant chicken that wears a UWBC TShirt.

A low spade to the K got him back to hand, after which he attacked clubs by leading the 10, which held, and followed with a small club to pull West's K. The Mad One then shifted to the Q to establish his eleventh trick when Boo won the A.
Boo led the 9 to set up his 8 and Mad Bart paused for thought. He eyes bugged out because he saw that the count was rectified (whatever that meant). He won the J pitching a diamond from dummy and cashed two of dummy's good clubs Boo parting with a heart, South pitching a diamond and Sewcraits giving up two hearts. This was the position with dummy to lead:
When Mad Bart cashed dummy's final club, Boo painlessly pecked out
a heart, the mad one let a diamond go, but Sewcraits could not part
with a heart, and so wisely reduced himself to 2 diamonds. Mad Bart
now led the 10 from dummy and
Boo knew his goose was cooked. He
could either give up the 8 to promote the
mad one's 4 or a diamond
to promote dummy's 7.
Out of spite, he gave up the 8, denying the
sad.. uh.. mad one his beer card. Interestingly enough, if Boo had returned a heart instead of a spade, then Mad Bart could not have squeezed to make 6, and could only have made 11 tricks as the cards lay.
