The DafDafDaffiest!

Hello and welcome to the this tribute page. Shown at right is an embodiment of all that is good: Daffy Duck. Daffy has been one of my idols since I was a little kid. His three qualities which I admire the most are: his honest, yet playful sense of humour (also referred to as kookiness); his inability to dodge bullets; and his ability to try almost anything, no matter how inept he is at it. Even though Daffy is a 37 card deck, he has managed to do one thing over the last 40 years: make millions of us laugh. I can only try to be more like him.

Daffy is the epitome of cartoon straightmen. He has had many ``outofduck'' roles such as Duck Dogers, Stuuupor Duck!, and Robin Hood. Also, as his usual ducky self, he has ferociously soiled the palm of the abonimable snowman's hand, and he has been valiantly disintegrated by Marvin the Martian. And we can't forget the brilliant têteatêtes he has had with Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny. The .jpg clip shows a scene from ``RabbitDuckRabbitDuck...'' in which Elmer Fudd is persuaded to shoot either a rabbit or a duck. You can probably imagine what happens.

Part of the reason why Daffy is so appealing to us is his human personality. We owe this to Chuck Jones for his revolutionary idea of having cartoon characters interact with each other. Because Daffy has such strong humanlike characteristics, we have made him (and his kooky psychology) part of our lives.
