Textbook: Modern Operating Systems - 2nd Edition, Andrew S Tanenbaum, Prentice Hall, 2001

We will cover Chapter 1-6 and, if time permits, Chapter 10.

Grading

• Four (4) assignments count for 10%.
• Two (2) programming assignments count for 30%
• One (1) 1-hour mid-term exam counts for 15%.
• One (1) 3-hour final exam counts for 45%.
