This site applies only to CMPT 165 C1 (Distance Ed) in Spring 2011. See the CMPT 165 sections page for other sections.
Note that the exercises and assignments for different sections of the course may differ. There will be a mark penalty for doing the work from the wrong section or submitting it incorrectly.
Lab Exercises
Starting in week 3, there will be a lab exercise due, except the week of the mid-term. These will be submitted to the Course Management System; they are due by 23:59:59 on the given due date. You can do these exercises on your own: there is no need to go to a physical lab.
- Lab exercise 1, due January 21.
- Lab exercise 2, due January 28.
- Lab exercise 3, due February 4.
- Lab exercise 4, due February 11.
- Lab exercise 5, due February 25.
- Lab exercise 6, due March 11.
- Lab exercise 7, due March 18.
- Lab exercise 8, due March 25.
- Lab exercise 9, due April 1.
- Lab exercise 10, due April 8.
Assignments
Like the lab exercises, these are submitted by email and are due by 23:59:59 on the given due date.
- Assignment 1, due February 9.
- Assignment 2, due March 2.
- Assignment 3, due March 18.
- Assignment 4, due April 8.
Everything will be submitted to the Course Management System.
Notes
Late submission and modified files will both count towards any late penalty. Late penalties for problems with marking (unaccessable files, etc.) will count from the date that they are fixed. Do not delete any of your files on the server until the end of the course.
