Assignments and Exams

Assignments, assignment solutions, midterm solutions and other course-related material will be posted on the course web site, as indicated above. Most of this information will also be placed in the directory /gfs1/CMPT/150/dbg, which you can access by FTP at ftp.sfu.ca (an alias for fraser.sfu.ca) or by logging in to fraser. If you are using FTP, you will need to use your campus comnputing network ID, because anonymous FTP will not allow you access to the course directory.

Marked assignments will be returned by the TA during office hours. Each assignment will be available until the next one is marked and ready to be returned. After that, you may pick them up from the instructor.

If you have questions about the way your assignment was marked, first approach the TA who marked the assignment, and discuss it. If, after discussing it with the TA, you still feel that the mark is incorrect or unfair, bring your questions to the instructor.

You can expect an assignment once every one or two weeks, depending on the relative size of the assignment. Due dates and times will be announced with each assignment. Hard copy of assignment solutions should be handed in by placing it in the drop box labeled for CMPT 150-ARC, near K9507. Be sure to put your assignment in the right drop box!
