  • Final Exam: 50%
Labs will be short tasks, primarily intended to ensure that everyone keeps coding and keeps up with the topics being introduced. Assignments will involve larger, more complex problems to solve.
Computer Accounts
You will need several computer accounts in this course:
  • Your sfu computing account. To get this account, go to my.sfu.ca and follow the instructions.
  • A gradebook account. This is used to check your grades for assignments and tests online, and it will be activated in the second week of the semester. Your initial password will be your student number, but you can change it to whatever you prefer.
  • Your lab account for using the computers in 7050.
