Students' final mark for this course will be calculated using the following course grading scheme:

• 3% for classroom participation via reflection posts on the Canvas Discussions forum (12 best).


• 3% for lab participation.


• 4% for a Quiz (best of two).


• 20% for 4 assignments (5% each).


• 70% for the examinations:
  
  
  • 20% for the midterm examination.
  
  
  • 50% for the final examination.
  
  



Students must attain an overall passing grade (50%) on the weighted average of exams (midterm and final examination) in the course in order to obtain a clear pass: a grade of C- or better.

The instructor reserves the right to modify the above course grading scheme.
